By 1700, the Eastern Seaboard of our country had been settled. We were a land of farmers and merchants, traders and politicians, with an independent spirit, which would produce the world’s first democratic Constitution less than a century later. We’ll follow the growth of America from its inception to the beginning of the War Between the States, which would threaten the continued existence of one nation under God and learn what makes our country a light unto the nations.
