OMNI Learning Center is gratified to offer one of its most ambitious and invaluable classes ever … a complete OMNIBUS immersion course in creative writing and literary exchange. The class views writing as an ongoing process in which students follow a given set of procedures for planning, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing their writing. The process focuses primarily on what children want to communicate, since student choice is of primary importance. Grammar, syntax, and responding meaningfully to teacher-read literature (both poetry and prose) is an important element of this hands-on course. This phenomenal course is conducted by Zoë Sippel, a reading and writing workshop specialist who trained at Columbia University under the internationally renowned Lucy Calkins herself, as well as Omni’s directors, Lorraine Gerstl and Margie Lotz. Obviously, while it is impossible to do justice to the scope of this thrilling course in a brief caption, this is a course your child should absolutely not miss!  Enrollment is strictly limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
