PHYSICAL, GEOGRAPHY, HUMAN GEOGRAPHY, AND GEOLOGY
If it’s about Earth’s land, water, air, or living things, especially people, it is one of the “Geos,” Physical geography, Human geography, and Geology, the sciences that deal with nature, the Earth’s history, and how and why we have adapted our behavior to live successfully on the only home we’ll ever have. Learning geography and geology helps us develop an understanding of the interdependence of our world and how we are connected through location, movement, region, history, and culture: how and why people live the way they do.
