READING – THE FOUNDATION OF ALL LEARNING:
BASIC READING SKILLS AND COMPREHENSION STRATEGIES
Since Reading is the key that unlocks the door to the universe, it is critical that students learn that reading is so much more than simply learning to decode words. Unless children can comprehend and appreciate what they read, they will never acquire the full arsenal of tools and strategies that will enable them to enjoy what they read to the extent that when they are reading a good book, be it fiction or nonfiction, they are never without a friend! In keeping with Omni’s goal of realizing each student’s maximum potential and success, this phenomenal – and phenomenally popular – course is divided into two separate classes based on each student’s assessed level. Your child should absolutely not miss this class! Enrollment is strictly limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fall 2024-2025
Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Grades 2 to 7.
Students will be grouped according to ability level.
$600 per semester

December 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19;
January 7, 9,. 2025 (Last day of the Semester).
No Class
November 26-29 (Thanksgiving)
December 23 – January 3 (Winter break).
